Butter Dish

This handmade ceramic butter dish is perfect for serving and storing a regular stick of butter. I measured so that it should fit both east coast style butter and west coast style butter! Who knew that butter came in different sizes across the country!

This butter keeper is perfect kitchen accessory, this sweet lidded container made from a slab of clay using white stoneware clay. The butter dish is approximately 8.5" long x 4.5 " tall. The cute knob and the design pattern was made with my own handmade stamps, I’ve added ceramic leaves for a 3 dimensional feel. The lid and dish were stamped and then meticulously painted with 3-4 coats of vivid satin matte glazes. Each butter dish takes over 3 hours just to paint!

Some butter dishes have small metal antennae with little baubles for added interest, and drama.

I only use food safe, lead free glazes on my pottery.
