Featuring an Inspirational Quote that helps sets the mood for the day!

This colorful ceramic stoneware mug is built entirely by hand from a flat slab of clay.

On many of my pieces I’ve also added small dot appliqués or cut out and applied designs for additional interest and texture.

Some mugs even have a cute dangling bauble off of the handle, they are like tiny pottery jewels. Due to the nature of the metal being used, mugs with baubles are NOT microwave safe.

I make all of my own stamp designs, so that you know that you have purchased a one of a kind piece. All of the surfaces designs that you see in my work are original to me. My signature style is to first stain my pieces black so that the pattern and texture really pop! I then carefully paint 3-4 coats of each color with vibrant food safe glazes. Each mug takes approximately 3 hours to paint. I especially like to play with the contrast of satin matte glazes, shiny glazes and the juxtaposition of the clay body showing through.

Slight imperfections and seeing the touch of the maker, is the beauty of handmade pottery.

The images are of the actual pot that you are purchasing.

Hand washing is recommended, dishwasher top shelf is ok.

NOTE - There are bit of black stain peeking through here and there, I do not consider it a defect, but want to acknowledge it as it is part of my process.  I stain all of my work with a black underglaze intentionally for 2 reasons.

1.  The black stain allows me to have a fabulous outline on all the work and show all the texture.

2.  I draw inspiration for my work from circuses, side shows and carnivals. I have an affinity for all the glitter and glam, the fortune tellers, the flying trapeze artists, the mystery and magic. I like
